As a content writer, I help people and businesses
bring their stories to life.
My creative journey started in Sri Lanka, where I grew
up surrounded by art, books, and a love of
imagination. I was the kid “Studying” Tolkien, Blyton, or
Pratchett behind my textbooks — and once turned my
mother’s leather dining chairs into expressionist art.
I’m not rebellious, just driven to create!
To channel that energy — and spare my family from
the creative destruction — I studied architecture and
moved to England to complete my degree and
postgraduate studies. For over 20 years, I have
worked in the built environment — first as a project
architect, then as a design manager — delivering
education, residential, and commercial projects. But writing always called me back.
Now, I blend industry expertise with storytelling skills to help architects, engineers, and construction professionals communicate with clarity
and purpose, without the jargon. I also partner with female-led businesses across industries, driven by curiosity and a deep belief in
amplifying women’s voices. We all have a story to tell, don’t we?
Beyond client work, I write fiction for both children and adults, and review fringe theatre in London.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me playing tennis, adding just one more book to my collection, or negotiating with my cat, Milo, who’s convinced he runs the show.
I create blog posts, website copy, case studies, articles,
and brand storytelling content — particularly for architects,
engineers, and businesses in the built environment. I also
write biographies and profile pieces for individuals and
founders.
Yes. I have over 20 years of experience in architecture and
design management, which allows me to write confidently
about technical subjects while keeping the content
accessible and engaging.
We’ll start with a discovery email, then a call to discuss
your goals, audience, and tone of voice. I’ll then prepare a
brief or outline before drafting the content. I include at least
one revision round to make sure the final result is just right.
Absolutely. I take the time to understand your brand voice
and audience, and if you don’t have a tone guide yet, I can help you define one as part of the process.
